The story of Neuroconsult
The strong need of applied research together with acquired experience in the research field of Neuroscience (in particular Cognitive Neurobiology) resulted in the idea to create Neuroconsult. Neuroconsult was created to bridge the gap between basic Neuroscience and possible applications for fields such as Industrial Design, Product Development, Economy, and for the Clinical and Science Community in principle.
After a decade of intensive neuroscientific research starting with intracellular recordings of single photoreceptors of a spider's eye and then turning into the field of human brain research Peter Walla founded Neuroconsult. He studied Biology (Zoology), did human brain research for many years at the General Hospital in Vienna (Neurology Clinic) and teaches at three different universities, the Medical University (Cognitive Neurobiology), the Vienna University (Cognitive Neuroscience) and the Webster University (Physiological Psychology). During his scientific career he spent 8 months in Japan, 3 months in Scotland and 7 months in Australia to form his mind and to improve his scientific skills.
